Alliance Reaches 200 Members

The buildingSMART alliance reached 200 members in September continuing a healthy pace of growth since opening for membership in late 2007. "We are pleased with how many individuals, companies, associations, and agencies see the importance of developing integrated technologies and open standards for the construction industry," said Alliance executive director Deke Smith.
Current Alliance membership comprises 81 corporate and organizational members including 19 sponsors (at least $10,000 level of support) who receive a seat on the Alliance Board of Direction, and 119 individual members ($100 fee).
