BIM Project Clearinghouse

Projects are at the heart of the work of the Alliance. Some are projects of the Alliance such as NCS and NBIMS-US, but most are funded and coordinated by others. We welcome all open BIM projects to be listed here so that the industry has one clearinghouse for all open BIM efforts oriented toward transforming the facilities industry. The output of many of these projects are ballots for the active standards efforts of the Alliance. If you have an active project that you would like listed please contact Deke Smith (dsmith@nibs.org).

You may want to create your own new project. To do so please fill out the Team Interest Form. See the instructions for more information about establishing a team.

Project Structure

The organization of projects is tied to the Tetralogy of BIM which identified four high level strategies of Design, Procure, Assemble and Operate.
