The buildingSMART alliance is focused on developing standards and identifying best practices for the entire life cycle of the facilities industry. To that end, the Alliance needs organizations and individuals representing all parts of the industry to get involved in this important effort. The Alliance calls upon all members of the National Institute of Building Sciences to get involved and to reach out to others to participate. As the Alliance begins preparations for development of the National BIM Standard - United States™ Version 3, having representation from across the industry will be especially important. Now is the time to get involved.
