Signed in Concrete

Ronald G. Burg (left), Executive Vice President of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and Henry L. Green, Hon. AIA, President of the National Institute of Building Sciences, sign a Memorandum of Agreement between the two organizations on June 30. ACI has agreed to work on furthering open building information modeling (BIM) standards, such as the National BIM Standard-United States^TM developed through the buildingSMART alliance, in its area of professional interest. ACI, one of the world’s leading authorities on concrete technologies, currently has 98 chapters and 20,000 members spanning 108 countries.
