We are now commencing a new OmniClass development cycle, scheduled to be completed in June 2012.
As part of this cycle, we will be reviewing OmniClass tables not reviewed in the development cycle that completed in June 2010. The Working Groups (WG) that will perform these reviews and associated development work, and their respective leads are:
- Construction Entities WG (Tables 11, 12) - Stacey Tyley
- Spaces by Form WG (Table 14) - Dianne Davis
- Disciplines and Organizational Roles WG (Tables 33, 34) - Keith Robinson
- Properties and Materials WG (Table 41, 49) - Wayne Watson
Each of these WG will have on average one one-hour conference call per month. Additional work coming out of discussions and development decisions made on these calls will need to be completed by WG members on a voluntary basis. This work will sometimes also include additional conference calls. Of course, many WG members participate in decision making and discussion, and do not take on additional development work — the extent of workload to contribute is left to each individual to decide.
