High Performance Building Council (HPBC) Chairman Get W. Moy, PhD, PE (standing), addresses members at the HPBC meeting. The council meeting was one of many held during the National Institute of Building Sciences Annual Meeting the week of December 6-10.

The 2010 National Institute of Building Sciences Annual Meeting centralized a multitude of industry meetings, educational sessions and networking opportunities. Held December 6-10 in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with Ecobuild America, the event brought together hundreds of Institute members to advance the knowledge and science of the building industry.

The Annual Meeting included project demonstrations, the Institute’s Annual Reception and Awards Dinner, a symposium, a workshop, FEDCon® ’10, stimulating keynotes, loads of educational sessions and more than a dozen meetings of the Institute’s various councils and committees. All told, it was quite an action-packed week of activities. See the coverage.
