buildingSMART alliance is excited to announce its participation with McGraw-Hill Construction in a North American industry-wide survey of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The survey, which also involves 16 other construction associations in the U.S. and Canada, will be one of the most comprehensive looks at BIM adoption and usage by architects, engineers, contractors, specialty contractors, specifiers, estimators, construction managers, distributors, fabricators, and owners. This is an important event that will lead to this year’s SmartMarket Report similar to the one on interoperability and the one last year on BIM.
The survey is now closed and results will be presented at the bSa conference in December. The industry needs some metrics on which to base progress, and this will be your opportunity to be counted.
